Wool Fibers - Fleece to yarn

Students will learn the process steps for transforming fleece into spun yarn. Processes reviewed include skirting, washing, drying, carding, spinning and dyeing. Hands on experience will be given with the electric drum carder, which will qualify the student to rent the carder for carding their own wool.
