WinklePicker Concert & Conversation w/ Charles Neville

Charles, the second oldest Neville brother, will play music and talk about his life. Charles grew up in New Orleans and lived through the Jim Crow South, toured with the Rabbitsfoot Minstrel Show on the Chitlin’ Circuit and played with the likes of Little Walter, Jimmy Reed, Big Maybelle, James Brown, B.B. King, Bobby Bland and Ray Charles, Allen Toussaint. He was incarcerated at Angola, Louisiana’s infamous state penitentiary and once had his life saved by a Voodoo woman.
