The Japanese Doll & Cultural Festival (Hina Matsuri) is a wonderful way for people of all ages to experience the culture of Japan. There are many displays and live performances. Unique dolls can be viewed, including special dolls for Girl’s Day, which includes the Emperor, Empress and court. Other displays include kimonos, ikebana (flower arrangement), bonsai, and calligraphy. Live performances include taiko drums, Japanese dance, martial arts, music, origami, and tea ceremony. It's free.
