The College of Engineering and the Arlington Technology Association present Don Shaver, Ph.D., director of Texas Instruments' Communications and Medical Systems Laboratory. The development of wearable and implantable wireless devices is revolutionizing physicians' abilities to monitor patients' body functions in real time. In this presentation, Dr. Shaver will examine the technological challenges to achieving the device performance required for body-area networking.
