February 17-22 is Bassoon Week at UTA Music. Today's Bassoon Week event features a guest artist recital with Saxton Rose. Mr. Rose is an Artist/Professor of Bassoon at the UNC School of the Arts, the principal bassoonist of the Winston-Salem Symphony and was recently named the new bassoonist of Zephyros Winds, a New-York based wind quintet.
