Santa Anita Race Track

Live racing is Wednesday through Sunday. On weekdays, gates open at 10:30 a.m. and post time for the first race is 1:00 p.m. Weekends, gates open at 10:00 a.m. and post time for the first race is 12:30 p.m. Consult the racing schedule for additional post times and special promotions.

In addition, wagering facilities, closed-circuit TV simulcasts of racing and limited food services are provided during satellite wagering periods the remainder of the year.

Santa Anita occupies approximately 320 acres. Its landmark, 1,100-foot-long Grandstand seats 26,000 guests. The giant Infield area accommodates many thousands more. Behind the scenes are 61 barns, capable of housing more than 2,000 horses and a complete equine hospital.
