Jr. Naturalist Program: Creek Critters

Saturday, Apr 27, 2013 2:00p

What lives in our creeks? Matthew Kays of the Anchorage Waterways Council will lead an exploration of macro-invertebrates that are indicators of good water quality in healthy creeks. We'll catch larvae of caddisflies and mayflies. Optional: bring rubber boots and dress for messy exploration. Free program; $5 parking for non-members. For kids in grades (K-6th) with their parents, registration required.
