Victoria Kononova presents “The Snow-Maiden” Fairytale in Russian Folklore, Literature, Music, and Arts

Victoria Kononova is a PH.D candidate in Slavic Languages at University of Wisconsin. Her dissertation is entitled “Nationalism, Ethnography, and the Appropriation of the Folk in Late Nineteenth Century Russian Literature and Culture”. This event is sponsored with the UAA Languages Department.

This event is free, open to the public with free parking in the South Lot, the lot across from the bookstore. For more information contact Rachel at 786-4782.
