Wildlife Wednesday: Owls in Alaska

Join us this February 13th, 2013 for Whooo’s There: Owls in Alaska. Since owls are active at night, many people haven’t ever seen an owl up close. Here’s your chance. Meet Archimedes the Great-horned owl, a live education bird. Ginamaria Smith, with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, will present Archimedes and share information about what makes owls unique, why they’re incredible hunters, and which types you can find here in Alaska.
