Northern Influences: Responding to Place and One Another

Featuring the work of a loosely knit group of Nome artists working primarily within the western tradition, who create a caring and communal sharing of techniques, materials and thoughtful critiques. The results are as varied as the personalities of the artists, but a common thread woven through their artworks reflects the influence of the land and life of Alaska's Northwest Coast.
