A panel of mentors share their experiences in volunteering with the Refugee Assistance and Immigration Services program, Catholic Social Services, welcoming and orienting new refugees to Anchorage. Nathan Welker began as a family mentor as a capstone experience in the Civic Engagement Certificate program. He organized this panel as a part of his capstone course.
