Board a whimsical yellow submarine and dive to new depths of excitement as Nemo and his friends from the Disney·Pixar film "Finding Nemo." Venture on an aquatic quest with Marlin and Dory to find Nemo. Discover colorful reefs, ancient ruins, exotic fish, massive whales and an erupting underwater volcano. Come face-to-fin with Bruce the Shark, Gill, Peach, Crush and other memorable characters from the hit movie. The original Disneyland Submarine Voyage debuted in 1959, along with the Matterhorn Bobsleds and Disneyland Monorail. It was one of the first "E-Ticket" attractions. Imagineers created more than 40 unique colors for the lagoon area — including such whimsical names as Yamber (a cross between yam and amber), Mango Mud, Toast, Blue Feint (barely blue), Aqua Jazz, Swamp (dark green/amber), Danger Red, Burning Coal, Split Pea, Earth, Phantom, and Peritwinkle.
