Alzheimer's: "The Long Goodbye"- Living with Anticipatory Grief and Alzheimer's Disease

This program is designed to help caregivers who are dealing with anticipatory grief, or the on-going loss of a loved one. Unlike other terminal illnesses, Alzheimer's and dementia often take away the person we love in stages, and this creates many different feelings and emotions. We will discuss ways to deal with these feelings and emotions and the value of palliative care and Hospice. There will be a support meeting for anyone to discuss and share experiences, and be a source of support.
