Sal will join us here in Essex County at Camp Breyerswood in Amherstburg/McGregor for a 3 day camp out, weekend workshop retreat. Spiritual teachings around this very Sacred Healing Ceremony, it's structure and construction will be given. Sal will also lead an Inipi Ceremony during the weekend.

"In my youth I set up the altar for sacred Lakota Yuwipi ceremonies, working with Benjamin Godfrey Chipps, a Spiritual Interpreter of the Oglala Lakota Sioux Tribe, a practitioner of the Yuwipi ceremony with blood links to its originator. Children and Youth:
This will be a family/kid friendly event! Children are an important part of our communities and are also an important part of this event! During parts of the program, child care will be offered and children will be able to participate in a wide variety of activities such as exploring the natural playground, sit spot routines, stories and crafts. Older children may enjoy activities such as compasses and maps, fire making, shelter building and survival skills.
Soak it all in for a while while your kids get more connected with nature!
Since we are offering this at no extra cost, families who wish to use this will be asked to have one person from their family donate a couple of hours through the weekend to help out with the children's program. We feel this helps create a strong sense of community involvement and it helps us to offer this service at no extra cost. Everyone gets so much out of this experience!
** Note: This is Not a daycare. Parents will not be permitted to leave the premises while children are being minded.**

Camp Breyerswood is the local Girl Guides of Ontario campground. The campground is 27 acres, with trails, pond, playground, quiet area and more. This will be the ideal place for a spiritual getaway/cleansing and nature connection time for the whole family.
There are sacred teachings around women's natural body and spiritual cycles. We will have a Moon Lodge to hold space for women of all ages around this subject.

If you would like more comfortable accommodations cabins are available. These are small one room cabins with a couple sets of bunk beds and electricity. (fun to stay in!!) These spots are very limited. So, if you are interested, register soon!
$20 per night shared - $10 for health/special needs
Group/Family rate is $40 per night. * must be a group or family for a whole cabin* $20 for Special needs families and families with small children.
There are a few spots where campers can be put. Electricity available (limited spots available!) $10 per night.
*A non refundable deposit of $50 per person is required to save your spot.
We would like all the remaining payments to be in one month before camp (this would really help us out!) However final payments Must be in no later than August 23rd – 2 weeks prior to camp.
Important: Please bring a list of all medications, name of doctor and next of kin and emergency contact.

Also, given the spiritual and wholistic nature of the workshop, we would like to make attendance possible for anyone who feels drawn to attend regardless of income and are doing everything we can to make that possible. We have set up an option for participants to chip in for our Subsidy Fund for struggling individuals or families if they choose.
For participants who are from the Windsor-Essex County area, we may be able to arrange car pooling or shared bus rental if needed.

Friday September 6th. Registration begins at approximately 4:00 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:00pm. Teaching and talks will be given.
Saturday: This is the day we will build the structure. Sal will teach us about the meaning in the components of the stucture. In the evening we will have an open potluck, rock soup and bannock. Visitors welcome this night until around 11:00 pm.
Sunday: Inipi Ceremony will be held.
Monday: We will have a debriefing about the ceremony and more. (Probably a nice big breakfast this day too! :)

Is there an extra charge for accommodations?
A regular camping space is *included* in the ticket price. Cabins and tent trailer spaces are available for a fee.
Are there Id requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Under 17 must be accompanied by an adult. We may make acceptions for youths 16 - 17 years of age with written parental permission. In these cases, yes I.D. and/or documentation of guardianship will be required from both the youth and the parent/guardian.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Plently of parking is available
If you are from the Windsor-Essex County area and would like transportation to and from the site, we are arranging a car pool list to help people out with that. Don't forget to email Kati if you would like to be on this list or if you can help out with this option.
Another option that may become available if there are enough participants, is shared bus rental. This means that each person wishing to use this would pay their fair percentage of the cost.

What can/can't I bring to the event?
*** Important*** Alcohol or drugs of any kind will not be permitted. If you are found to have alcoholic substances on the premises, you will be asked to leave without refund. We appreciate your understanding on this matter.
We can make a kit list for participants if you like! If you are on our participant mailing list you will receive one about a month before camp.
Should I bring money to this event?
There will be some items for sale by Sal and by C.A.M.P. Participants are invited to bring their business brochures, art or craft items they sell. You can bring money if you like but it's not neccessary.
If I am not able to make all of the scheduled days, can I still attend?
Sure you can. If you can't attend all of the days, contact Kati if you are purchasing a Food Pass, Cabin Pass, or Tent Trailer Pass . She may be able to give you a reduced rate. Applies to the items mentioned here ONLY
Is my registration/ticket transferrable
You may transfer your registration if you like. Please make sure that we are aware before you come to camp.
Can I update my registration information?
Please do. *note* make sure you let us know if you have any allergies or health issues we may need to know about.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Bring your tickets or reciept. If you are unable to print, email to Kati before you leave for camp.
What is the refund policy?
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required per person, and $20 for shared. If you are unable to make it, you may request a refund for the balance.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
This will be considered on a case by case basis. Make sure Kati is aware of any changes on the registration prior to camp and this can be easily resolved
May I make a donation? How much should I donate? What will it be used for?
Yes, of course we welcome donations. Right now donations will be used to help struggling individuals or families attend Camp Inipi specifically. In the future, we would like to have a Subsidy Fund that will help at least one individual or family per event/retreat/workshop. You can donate any amount you wish. $5, $10, $20. No amount is too small. Everything helps and is more appreciated than you will ever know! * on our website it will be done in $5 increments - coming soon*
