Bringing the anatomy of animals together with digital art, this presentation addresses how we borrow from our natural environment to examine, understand, and view the physical world.
Between the scientific and artistic perspectives, both presenters will explain how they approach the physical presence of animals in manipulating nature's materials so they can see and show what they want to see, need to see, and create new ways of seeing. Wolfgang Weber works in the field of Veterinary Anatomy in support of the teaching laboratories. Carol Faber teaches within the Art and Design Department with her research emphasis in digital imagery and intuitive ways of working with technologies.
Location:Brunnier Art Museum, 295 Scheman Bldg.
