In 2001, banjoist Scott Avett and guitarist Seth Avett formed The Avett Brothers with standup bass player Bob Crawford. The Carpenter is the group’s richest and most rewarding record yet. On March 8th Old Crow Medicine show will be one of four artists filming an episode of the PBS television series, Bluegrass Underground. On their newest album, Carry Me Back, Old Crow continue to craft classic American roots music while pushing themselves in new directions.
