Legendary jazz guitarist Jimmy Wyble was a colleague, friend, and even a teacher to some of the greatest living guitarists of our time. This concert boasts seven of these virtuosi: Howard Alden, Bruce Forman, Sid Jacobs, Dave Koonse, Larry Koonse, and Mundell Lowe. They are joined by “A-List” Los Angeles musicians Gary Foster, Darek Oles, and Joe La Barbera; as well as the world renowned Western Swing band, Cow Bop, for… Show more an evening of music that will showcase the music from Jimmy’s extraordinary career from his early days with Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys, through his years with Benny Goodman, Red Norvo, Tony Rizzi and his Five Guitars, and up to Jimmy’s groundbreaking solo guitar work.

Special Note: Jack Peterson, who had been previously listed as being a part of this event is unable to be with us on this special occassion. He will be missed, but will undoubtedly be there in spirit. - 2/28/2013
