Cinco de Mayo - California Style, Hands-on
Join us for a hands-on fiesta as we celebrate the Mexican victory at the Battle of Puebla. A day of pride and unity for Mexico, America has embraced this holiday as an opportunity to enjoy the flavorful foods from South of the Border. This year we’re cooking it California style, a bit lighter than Tex-Mex, with an emphasis on fresh seafood and vegetables.
Students will have the opportunity to make mini summer taco salad, Chiles Rellenos, Baja fish tacos, and sweet fried plantains.
