This year's program features a luncheon address by the Honorable David J. Kappos, the Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Director Kappos will discuss the agency's implementation of the recently enacted "Amerca Invents Act (AIA)." The AIA's provisions relating to post-grant review will be the subject of a panel discussion. The program will also include a review of recent developments in patent, trademark, and copyright law.
